A 26 year-old Salinas man has pleaded no contest to 5 counts of lewd and lascivious acts with a family member. That after a little girl told her mother that Marco Antonio Sanchez had touched her private parts with his private parts….a number of times over a several month period. She said she told him she did not like it, and would kick him. The little girl’s 10 year-old big brother saw some of the incidents and tried to stop Sanchez, but was thrown to the ground by Sanchez. He also said he heard his sister tell Sanchez to stop. Sanchez is expected to receive a stipulated sentence of 25 years in prison when he is sentenced in March. He will also be required to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.
