A roundabout project in Rio Del Mar is expected to cause traffic delays through next week. Crews will be working at the site from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. until Friday, April 3rd, weather permitting. Rio Del Mar Boulevard will be closed at the Esplanade. All Beach Drive traffic will be detoured from Rio Del Mar Boulevard to Aptos Beach Drive during working hours. Motorists are encouraged to avoid the area if possible or be prepared for delays.
