Community members across the central coast hosted a fundraiser in Salinas.
The fundraiser took place at Mo’s River Road Grill.
A fire evacuee created a photo album with photos of frontline responders battling the River Fire.
The photos were sold at the fundraiser and proceeds went directly to affected families.
Thousands of dollars were reportedly raised at the event in order to help support 8 families that lost their homes.
