Two separate ribbon cuttings ceremonies were held in Soledad yesterday. One for a new lighted crosswalk in front of an elementary school, and the other was for a new road. The lights in front of San Vicente Elementary School are both on the ground and on a sign above that drivers can see…..while the new road (“Orchard Lane”) splits what used to be just a dirt field, where housing and a Hartnell College satellite facility are slate d to be constructed.
