A new program has been launched, to help catalogue california’s redwood trees. The san francisco-based organization save the redwoods league is promoting the project, which is called “redwood watch.” Organizers are calling on residents to take pictures of redwoods, and upload them to the website “inaturalist dot org.” The goal is to monitor the range of redwoods, as the climate changes. Scientists say by utilizing the public’s help, more data can be gathered. More informatino can be found online at: w w w dot i naturalist dot org.
