The Pajaro Valley Unified School District has agreed to purchase its long-term Watsonville headquarters. The $16 million deal was unanimously approved by the Pajaro Valley School Board and is expected to complete on December 10.
The purchase is aimed at saving the district money in the long term and is neutral over the 16 years of payments. After that, the district saves an estimated $1.3 million each year.
