The public’s assistance is being sought in connection with Monday morning’s homicide of 37 year-old Daniel Martinez Junior in Salinas. A dark-colored vehicle was seen leaving the area of the 12:30 a.m. shooting, which took place on the 1200 block of Polk Street. Anyone with information about the incident is encouraged to contact the Salinas Police Department.
