A man suspected of firing projectiles at vehicles in the Prunedale area appeared in a Monterey county court room yesterday. A Monterey County Superior Court judge agreed to delay the case, so Charles Lafferty’s attorney has enough time to read through the 600 pages of “discovery”. Lafferty faces 79 charges. including 74 counts of Assault With A Deadly Weapon, 3 counts of Child Abuse and 2 counts of Attack/Abuse On A Peace Officer. Lafferty is due back in court April 21ST.
