It’s Pride Month, and the rainbow Pride Flag is being flown in several tri-county cities…some of them for the first time. Along with that, a number of school districts are either flying the Pride Flag, or the Progress Flag. The Progress Flag is a rainbow flag that also incorporates brown and black stripes (to represent black and indigenous people of color within the queer community), and pink, blue and white stripes (to represent transgender youth).
