The rain and wind storm that hit the Monterey Bay Area this morning has caused numerous power outages in the greater Monterey Bay Area. Some of them are individual outages, while some are impacting large groups. The largest is for 624 P.G. & E. Customers in the La Selva Beach area. P.G. & E. says their workers are doing their best to get power restored to everyone as quickly as possible, however, due to the continuing wind, and the number of outages, it may take them some time to get that accomplished.
