County officials are seeking workers to staff the polls for the November 6th election. Santa Cruz County Registrar of Voters Gail Pellerin says it takes about 900 people to hold the election.
Pellerin says working the polls is a pleasant job that people often perform for election-after-election. The jobs also pay, up to $200 for working election day and attending two training sessions. Any voter can become a poll worker. Visit votescount.com to apply.
