Hollister Police Chief David Westrick will be leaving soon to attend the F.B.I’s national academy at Quantico Virginia. Less than 1 percent of all law enforcement officers have the opportunity to attend the 10-week course. The cost of the training is covered by the F.B.I. Captain Carlos Reynoso will fill in as acting chief, while Chief Westrick is gone.
