PG&E Steps Up Tree Trimming In Santa Cruz County 09-12-18 17:15 DC 1 of 2

Responding to the increased threat of wildland fire in some parts of Santa Cruz County, PG&E, the electric utility, on Wednesday set-up a work camp at Sky Park in Scotts Valley. Sky Park is located at 370 Kings Valley Road.

PG&E says the crews and equipment based in Scotts Valley will be working to remove overhanging branches and limbs, which have the highest likelihood of coming into contact with power lines during extreme weather. Fires have resulted from limbs touching power lines.

PG&E is working in areas that the California Public Utilities Commission has identified as being at extreme risk for wildfire.
