A vegetation fire which broke out this morning in the Pebble Beach area, has been contained. Fire crews responded to a report of flames and smoke coming from Del Monte National Forest east of Robert Louis Stevenson School near Poppy Hills Golf Course around 11 a.m. this morning. The blaze was contained after burning roughly a quarter to half of an acre near the 3rd tee at Poppy Hills. No structures were damaged and no injuries were reported. The cause remains under investigation.
