After reopening last month, several parts of the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk are now closed again after a new order from Gov. Newsom.
Previously, Neptune’s Kingdom, mini-golf, some boardwalk games, and other areas reopened. But, now rides, Neptune’s Kingdom, mini-golf, laser tag, the Casino Arcade, the Fright Walk, and Boardwalk Bowl are all closed.
Some food concessions, retailers, and Coasters Grill are open, but Coasters Grill is open for outdoor dining only.
Indoor operations at restaurants, wineries, movie theaters, family entertainment centers, zoos, museums, and cardrooms were ordered to close statewide. Bars were ordered to close all operations.
The boardwalk has also canceled its free concerts on the beach and movie nights on the beach this summer, but it has extended season passes through Dec. 31, 2021.
