Old Soquel-San Jose Road is still closed because a vehicle hit a power pole early this morning. The force of the accident broke the pole and dropped wires onto the vehicle and the roadway. The non-injury accident occurred just before 3 a.m., just north of Hester Creek road. P.G. and E. crews are working to replace the power pole, and hope to have 1-way traffic control in- place by 3 o’clock this afternoon. In the meantime, both lanes are closed between Hester Creek and Amaya Ridge roads.
