(10:12) Santa Cruz – The Monte Foundation 22nd Anniversary is this weekend. To celebrate the occasion there will be a spectacular display of fire works that will be set off this Sunday in the Capitola Village. The Monte Foundation is an organization that gives back to our community. One of the most recent projects the organization funded was The Monte Family Skateboard Park. Some of the Businesses in the Capitola Village have offered to donate a portion of their sales from Sunday night to the Monte Foundation. Proceeds raised from this free event will be used towards resurfacing the tennis courts in Jade Street Park. The fire work show will begin at 8:00 p.m.; Road closures will go into effect at 7:00 p.m. For more information on the roads that will be closed visit the CityOfCapitola.org.
