(08:00) Santa Cruz County – A ceremony was held yesterday (Tuesday) to celebrate the completion of a water-sharing project. The San Lorenzo Valley Water District and Scotts Valley Water District have been successfully linked together. The project was created so that the two districts could share water in case of an emergency and if a water main break occurs. The ceremony was held in Scotts Valley and gave attendees an opportunity to check out the new equipment. The project was made possible from a state grant and the districts, totaling $10 million dollars.
