(11:30) Monterey County – Although the Soberanes Fire is 100 percent contained the fire is not controlled. There are still hot spots that could result in a flare ups over the next few months. The South Central Sierra Interagency Management Team took over the fire operation yesterday (Thursday). They have set up a new incident command post that is based out of King City. Crews will be focusing on fire line suppression repair and monitoring the area for mudslides that could possibly occur from rain.
