(07:35) Monterey County – The Soberanes Fire that is burning in Monterey County is 99 percent contained at 132,127 acres. Zero structures are threatened and All evacuation orders and warnings have been lifted. The U.S. Forest Service reported this morning that in order to achieve full containment we must receive rain. That is because the fire is primarily burning in steep and rocky areas which is hard for firefighters to get to.
