(08:45) Watsonville – Two people were arrested after refusing to pull over for a vehicle code violation. The incident took place yesterday around 5:12 p-m in Watsonville at the intersection of Santa Clara and Napa Streets. The driver led the police on a short car chase that ended at the 100 block of Marin Street. 20 year-old German Guzman and 19 year-old Jovanie Fuentes were taken into custody. Police located a loaded semi-automatic near a residential driveway after they searched the route the vehicle had traveled. Fuentes and Guzman were both booked into the Santa Cruz County Jail and charged with driving without a valid license and possession of a loaded firearm
