(11:55) Monterey – Power was out for more than 3,000 P.G. & E. customers in the Monterey area yesterday. At about 1:15 p.m. trees came in contact with electrical equipment affecting the Mark Thomas Corridor. Repair crews worked through the night and restored all power for P.G. & E. customers at 4:30 a.m. today. P.G. & E. would like to remind people if you see fallen trees near power lines to evacuate the area and call 911.
