(10:19) GREENFIELD – A Greenfield man has been arrested on suspicion of extortion, conspiracy and criminal threats. Andres Cruz García, a leader in the city’s Triqui community, was apprehended following an investigation into complaints filed by fellow members of the Oaxacan community. García allegedly extorted money from individuals in the Triqui community and threatened to harm them if they did not provide the funds. Three others have also been arrested in connection with the scheme. García is being held in Monterey County Jail on $2 million bail. (S.G.)
