(17:30) SEASIDE- A Town Hall meeting regarding the Monterey County Jail’s use by Immigration and Customs Enforcement or ICE is scheduled to take place in Seaside on Thursday. From between August 14th until November 9th 122 inmates at the jail have been transferred into federal custody while remaining incarcerated at the jail. The practice has raised concerns with immigration groups an the American Civil Liberties Union who feel civil rights may be being violated. Monterey County Supervisor Jane Parker is holding the meeting to get input from the community. The event starts at 6:30 p.m. at the San Pablo Church in Seaside.
