November 11, 2016: S.C. Protestors Seek Answers in the Sean Arlt Case

(11:10) Santa Cruz – Yesterday afternoon Activists gathered at the corner of Laurel and Center streets, near the Santa Cruz Police Department, and requested full disclosure in the Sean Arlt shooting.  32-year-old Arlt, who suffered from mental illness, was shot and killed by a Santa Cruz police officer after threatening four police officers with a 5-foot metal bow rake.  The Santa Cruz Police released a statement saying the identification of the four police officers involved in the incident would be released in less than three months. That has not stopped community members from protesting that they want answers now.  Since the October 16th shooting there has been a handful of protests and community meetings with the public stating they want full disclosure now.
