Santa Cruz County elections officials dispute reports of a dog voting in the November election. They say the claim is false, made in a video circulating on social media.
Santa Cruz County Clerk/Registrar of Voters Gail Pellerin said no one registered by the name of the dog voted in the recent election, as was claimed online.
Pellerin also posted a tweet saying, “for the record, a dog did not register and vote in our county. Our office takes allegations of voter fraud very seriously and will investigate every report.”
