Salinas City Council members looked over a new housing proposal last night. It could include thousands of new homes, in several new neighborhoods just north of the Boronda area. The goal of the plan would be to create 4500 single family homes, duplexes, and apartments. The proposed development would also include schools, restaurants, and stores, and be built over the next 20-30 years.
