Pacific Gas and Electric Company has proposed a gas line upgrade for a portion of Carmel. The new, 6-inch line would start near the Carmel Gate Entrance To Pebble Beach on 17-Mile Drive. From there it would head south on San Antonio Avenue before turning onto 4th Avenue, and then Camino El Monte Avenue….and ending near Forest Park. This proposed upgrade is on the Carmel City Council agenda next Tuesday.
If its approved, construction could begin this summer.
