Nacimiento-Ferguson Road has been CLOSED to through traffic as firefighters work to contain the Mill Fire burning in the Big Sur area of south Monterey county. People are also asked to avoid the area around the intersection of Kirk Creek and Highway 1, so that firefighters can access the fireline.
