05:45 SANTA CRUZ-The Museum of Art and History opened its doors, for the very 1st time this Christmas, to serve a holiday meal. Steve Pleich of Friends of Christmas organized the event with the assistance of Harry Meserve of Veterans for Peace, Jeff Hotchkiss of the Meet-up group Spice, and master chef Jozseph “India Joze” Schultz. Guests were entertained with Christmas music and model trains. The Reverend Romeo Evangelista blessed the meal at Resurrection Catholic Church in Aptos. Before departing guests received wrapped gifts for kids and adults.
