A Moss Landing man has been convicted of felony vandalism and a misdemeanor by a jury. 31-year-old Jacob Pendo became distressed on April 15th, when his mother refused to buy him a bottle of wine. He proceeded to jump up and down on the roof of his mother’s classic 1968 Chevy Camero in retaliation, resulting in over $4,000 worth of damage. He also stole her cell phone and threw it across the street when she tried to call 911. Pendo is due for sentencing on December 2nd. If convicted he will face up to three years in state prison.
