Many vendors, and those working with vendors, at the Gilroy Garlic Festival, have their personal and business items stuck in the middle of a crime scene. Members of the F.B.I. are on the Festival grounds…. keeping that stuff secure, and cataloging and documenting all items that were left behind when people evacuated Christmas Hill Park Sunday evening. About 30 vendors ended up in the Red Cross Shelter Sunday night…..with those people being relocated to Christopher High School yesterday. The Red Cross has said they plan to keep the shelter open until the F.B.I. can re-unite people with their property.
Witnesses to Sunday’s shooting are encouraged to call the witness hotline at 408-846-0583. People who are seeking information about a loved one, are encouraged to call the reunification hotline at 408-846-0584.
