A 52-page report has identified 4 ‘upgrade options’ for the Monterey Public Library. The 23,000 square foot facility serves the whole Monterey Peninsula, and (in fact) has more card-holders than residents of the city of Monterey. The options are being considered because California’s first public library is said to desperately need its infrastructure upgraded, and its size increased.
