2 Hispanic men are being sought in connection with a Saturday night car-jacking and shooting in Monterey. The 9 p.m. shooting took place between the car-jackers, and an off-duty Monterey Police Officer. Anyone with information about the incident (at the intersection of Encina and Virgin Avenues), is encouraged to contact the Monterey Police Department.
The Hispanic men are wanted for both the car-jacking and the attempted murder of the officer.
