If Santa Cruz City Council members approve it at their meeting this afternoon, a local grassroots non-profit that serves the local homeless community could be getting a 15,000.00 grant. The money would help support the city’s Warming Center Program. The Santa Cruz City Council meeting is slated to begin at 12:30 this afternoon, in city council chambers….which are located at 809 Center Street.
