(17:03) SALINAS- A North Salinas High School graduate has signed a one million dollar softball contract. Former Olympian Monica Abbott signed the contract with the fast pitch softball team, the Scrap Yard Dawgs in Texas. Abbott graduated from high school in 2003 , then attended the University of Knoxville. She has been considered one of the fastest softball pitchers in the world for the past decade.
