(07:42) MONTEREY COUNTY – A Salinas man has been sentenced for fatally shooting three men. 24-year-old Giovanni Pacheco was arrested in August 2013, after opening fire on a crowd outside Taco’s Choice on Williams Road. Three people were killed and four others injured in the shooting. This week, Pacheco was sentenced to three life terms in prison plus 75 years to life for killing 28-year-old Edgar Salinas, 22-year-old Victor Ortiz and 25-year-old Alejandro Hernandez. Pacheco received an additional 35 years and eight months in prison for injuring the other four victims. (S.G.)
