(09:58) HIGHWAY 1 – GRANITE CREEK BRIDGE – Southbound Highway 1 is closed right now, about 4 miles south of the Carmel Highlands. That’s because crews are working to recover a big-rig that went over the embankment near Granite Creek Bridge late last night. Motorists are encouraged to take alternate routes until after 4 p-m today when the roadway is expected to be re-opened.
