(18:43) SANTA CRUZ- The County of Santa Cruz Department of Public Works has announced that work on Del Mar Elementary School will begin on Monday. Crews will start work on 17th Avenue between Felt Street and Portola Drive and on Portola Drive at Corcoran Avenue between the hours 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. through Friday, while workers install Radar Speed Feedback Signs and Flashing Beacon systems. Motorists are urged to avoid the area or be prepared for delays of up to 15 minutes.
