(06:52) SALINAS – The City of Salinas has fined the owner of the Dick Bruhn building for failing to meet a critical deadline. In February, the historic landmark in Oldtown Salinas was destroyed by a blaze that burned over the course of several days. In the aftermath of the fire, the building’s owner, Gerry Kehoe, was asked to complete an evaluation of the building’s structural integrity by May 2. Kehoe missed the deadline and has since been fined $100. The fine will increase every two weeks until Kehoe turns in a structural analysis. His next deadline has been set for June 17. (S.G.)
