100 pounds of marijuana, more than 11-and-a-half pounds of concentrated cannabis, 9 boxes of illegal aerial fireworks, and more than $12,000 were confiscated in Salinas today. The owner of the business where the various products were found, 32 year-old Orel Rodriguez, did not have a license to sell marijuana. He was arrested and booked into Monterey county jail. 29 year-old Ray Padilla was booked into Monterey county jail for possession of marijuana for sale, conspiracy, and resisting arrest. The “business” was located on the 1200 block of North Main Street.
