The owners of Marianne’s Ice Cream in Santa Cruz are planning to relocate the manufacturing and wholesale side of the business several blocks from its Westside site. They hope to have the new retail factory store (across the railroad track from the New Leaf Market on Fair Avenue) open by next summer. Marianne’s co-owners Kelly Dillon and Charlie Wilcox, who took over the business from their predecessors 6 years ago, paid $1.4 million for the Fair Avenue properties in October of 2015.
