March 4, 2016: UCSC Professor Recognized for Work in the Study of American Race Relations

(06:59) SANTA CRUZ – A UC Santa Cruz Professor has been recognized for his work in the study of American race relations. Tom Pettigrew, a professor of social psychology, has been awarded the American Sociological Association’s Cox-Johnson-Frazier Award. The award is given annually to an individual whose work emphasizes social justice with a focus on helping disadvantaged populations. Pettigrew will be presented the award during the ASA’s annual meeting in Seattle in August. (S.G.)
