(08:26) SANTA CRUZ – A hacker recently exploited thousands of unsecured printers at college campuses across the U.S., including UC Santa Cruz. During the cyber attack last week, targeted online printers produced racist and anti-Semitic fliers. The fliers were printed at the main housing office on Natural Bridges Drive and the Kresge College Academic Office. Black hat and white supremacist Andrew Auernheimer has taken credit for the fliers. The cyber attack has prompted UC officials to launch an investigation and take steps to tighten network security. (S.G.)
