(17:00) SANTA CRUZ- The Santa Cruz Harbor has opened to all boat traffic. Yesterday (Thursday) the United States Coast Guard disestablished its safety zone designation of the harbor entrance. The channel is now open to all boat traffic for the first time in four months. Harbor officials advise all mariners to evaluate the weather conditions, water depths, and their boat handling abilities prior to entering or departing the harbor. All vessels are requested to transit the channel with extreme caution, at all times.
