(06:15) Santa Cruz – A man was arrested after he led officers on short car chase on the Westside of Santa Cruz yesterday. SCPD Officers reported that 19 year-old Benjamin Judd, of Roseville, failed to yield to officers during a vehicle stop downtown Santa Cruz. The incident began in the area of Cedar Street and Walnut Street. Judd sped away and gave up the chase in the Safeway parking lot on Mission Street. Judd’s charges include DUI, the sale of marijuana, reckless driving, and evading police with disregard for public safety.
