(10:05) SANTA CRUZ – Two people were recently arrested in Santa Cruz on suspicion of possessing drugs and stolen property. Deputies were patrolling Delaveaga Park when they spotted 31-year-old Antonio Villa and 36-year-old Juanita Jarmillo sitting in a parked vehicle with an open container of alcohol. Both Villa and Jarmillo were found to be wanted on active probation arrest warrants. A search of the vehicle recovered packaged methamphetamine, packaged heroin and marijuana. A number of stolen items were also found, including two laptops, an electronic tablet and jewelry. Both suspects were booked into Santa Cruz County Jail. (S.G.)
