(08:45) SEASIDE – The public is invited to attend an event in Seaside on Friday to learn about scams and how to protect themselves from fraud. The Senior Scam Stopper Seminar and Resource Fair is designed to educate seniors, family members, and concerned residents about scams relating to home repair, identity theft, mail, auto repairs, insurance and more. The event will be hosted by Assemblyman Mark Stone and the contractors State License Board. The event will be held from noon to 2 p.m. at the Oldemeyer Center. (S.G.)
