(19:03)SANTA CRUZ–A project to resurface and widen the shoulders of Highways 1 and 17 continues with a daytime closure on northbound Highway 1, between the Fishhook and River Street on Monday, March 28. The roadwork consists of a lane closure of the number 2 (right) lane from 10 am to 12 pm for guardrail repair. Motorists can expect delays not to exceed 15 minutes. The 1.2 million dollar project, when completed in the spring, will create two dedicated lanes on northbound Highway. 1 from the Fishhook.
