(10:00) San Benito & Monterey Counties – Cal Fire announced a memorial service will be held today for a fallen fire Captain of San Benito-Monterey Unit. Fire Captain Julie Freeman passed away on March 5th, after a battle with cancer. Captain Freeman proudly served the Monterey Peninsula for the past eight years from the Carmel Hill Fire Station. A memorial service to honor Fire Captain Julie Freeman will be held this morning at 11:00 at The Church on the hill, 500 sands drive in San Jose.
